Fall Wreath Week!

This time of year my blog always has about ten times more visitors from this spider wreath I did a few years ago.  I love making wreaths especially at Halloween.  All week I'll be sharing Fall wreaths I've been working on.  Love to hear from you if you have any questions on how to make any of them or if your interested in purchasing one you can e-mail me at Annelilydesign@gmail.com.
This first wreath is a Witchy Houndstooth Wreath.  When I saw the Houndstooth ribbon above I new I had to use it for a wreath.  I love it!  Instead of starting with a supply list I'll show you in the photos what you'll need.  I think it will be a little easier.
Step 1: Using a straw wreath with the plastic still on wrap the ribbon around the entire wreath.  Use a glue gun when needed to secure the ribbon.  You will want to at least glue when you first place the ribbon.
Step 2: When you are finished wrapping you will want to glue the ribbon down to secure it in place.
Step 3: For the next steps you will need a glue gun, witch hat like the one below, ribbon, and a witch broom.  I found everything I used at Hobby Lobby.  Glue the witch hat on the broom.
Step 4: Once the glue has dried, glue the broom to the wreath.
Step 5: The ribbon I used below to hang the wreath has a great web look to it.
 Finished.
