Pink and Nautical 1st Birthday Party.

For this first birthday party I wanted to keep things simple.  The colors were pink, white, navy blue, and hints of gold.  

I recently started purchasing birthday cakes from Walmart and everyone loves them.  This cake was under $7 and it was plenty for all the guests.  The cake topper pennant was found on Zulily.   The favors for the guests were put in navy paper sacks.

 Each guest received scoops of ice cream placed into little mason jars.   The jars were placed in a bowl full of ice to keep them cold.

 These mason drink jars were also found on Zulily.  They were each filled with pink sparkling lemonade from Trader Joe's.  The pink paper straws were found at my local party store.

The tiny plate for the birthday girl was found at Ikea.  Her birthday crown was made with a brad, paper, and ribbon.  Tutorial coming soon.

 Pink balloons were hung to add to the festive look.
